“This Is A Place That Does A Good Job Of Spoiling You.”

In 2012, we moved to Willow Valley Communities from Largo, Florida. Yes, we moved north to retire! However, Barbara hasn’t retired. She continues her practice as an attorney, telecommuting between our home at Willow Valley Communities and her Florida office. Barbara was 50 years old when she decided to study law, and she continues working because she enjoys the profession.

I am retired. I was formerly a pastor at The Church by the Sea in Florida. Music has always been important to me, so I continue to write worship music and play guitar for Grace Community Church, where we now attend. I’ve written 700-800 musical compositions so far. Also, I continue teaching by offering Bible study classes to fellow residents at Willow Valley. I would miss preaching and teaching if I couldn’t teach a class now and then.

We’re both thankful that at Willow Valley Communities, we’re able to continue to do the things we enjoy. This is a place that does a good job of spoiling you.

Fun Fact: We actually met as toddlers and lived only two blocks apart.
