Keep your brain challenged with The Life of the Mind Consortium, a partnership between Willow Valley Communities and several local colleges and Universities that encourages the exchange of intellectual, social, artistic, and cultural ideas and activities. Interactive seminars and the Socrates Café offer in-depth explorations of various topics, while numerous book clubs gather for monthly discussions.
Travel near and far with planned excursions ranging from regional hotspots to exciting destinations. Baltimore, New York, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. are all within a few hours’ drive for cultural day trips, weekend getaways, or connections to major airports for international travel. Many residents travel abroad together, like this group did in Cuba.
