Ric Myers

Director of Sales

Ric began as the Director of Sales at Willow Valley in 2016. Although he calls Chicago home, Ric originally hails from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania.  He has over 25 years operational, sales, hospitality, and real estate experience from communities in the west and across the eastern seaboard. Ric currently serves on the Board of the Marketing and Public Relations Society of PA (MPRS) and is passionate about exemplary customer service. He oversees Willow Valley’s team of Sales Counselors and sales support staff and manages Willow Valley Communities’ inventory of over 1600 apartments, villas, and townhomes. He enjoys meeting prospective residents from all over the United States and being a resource for them to understand the myriad senior living options. He is especially well versed in “rightsizing” and making the most of every size living space. He lives in downtown Lancaster in 550- square feet of living space.

Julie Gotwald

Sales Counselor

Julie has been a Sales Counselor at Willow Valley Communities since 2005. She says, “The residents are my favorite part of working here. I absolutely love getting to know them and hearing their life stories.” Julie loves helping new people move in and seeing how Willow Valley can change their lives. “Many times, I worked with someone for years and have formed a wonderful relationship with them, so it’s even more special to see them around campus enjoying all that Willow Valley has to offer.”

Julie is a native of Lancaster and a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is very active in the Junior League of Lancaster County, where she has held numerous leadership positions, and is the author of Maddy’s Journey.

Heidi Lyons

Sales Counselor


Heidi has been a Sales Counselor at Willow Valley Communities since 2014. She comes to Willow Valley with over 7 years of experience in the 55-plus active adult market for new home sales. She also has over 5 years’ experience in Long-Term Care Insurance. Heidi says the best part of her career as a Sales Counselor at Willow Valley Communities is “creating new relationships and inspiring the active adult to Live Life Forward with our vibrant lifestyles options.” She loves meeting people and helping them find the perfect home to fit their needs, as well as sharing our beautiful community with prospective residents.

Heidi is a lifetime resident of Pennsylvania and has an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has certificates in Investment Property Practice, Management & Property, and Management & Managing Risk with investment properties. She also volunteers for Donegal School District athletic activities.

Cynthia Mumma

Sales Counselor

Cynthia began her career at Willow Valley Communities as a sales counselor in June of 2015. She was raised in New York and attended college at the University of Vermont. She has been a licensed realtor for 20 years and has facilitated many local, state, and international moves. “I understand the impact a move can have on people, and I enjoy making that process a positive, fulfilling experience,” Cynthia said.

Cynthia is a member of America’s largest trade association, the National Association of Realtors. She received the President’s Award, awarded to the top 500 realtors nationally, and the Home Sales Team Award, locally. Besides being a licensed realtor, she is also a certified staging professional.

Margie Seagers

Sales Counselor

Margie joined Willow Valley in 2016 and has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the medical, professional, and financial services industries. She graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing.

Margie really enjoys getting to know her clients on a personal level and building long-term relationships with them. She says this allows her to focus on meeting their needs and finding the ideal residence for them. “One of my favorite things about my job is taking first-time visitors on a tour of Willow Valley. I always enjoy their reactions to the amenities offered here,” Margie says. “I love to learn what their passions are and show them how life at Willow Valley will allow them to explore those passions and discover new ones.”

Laura Walker

Sales Counselor

Laura has been helping future residents find their new home at Willow Valley Communities since 1992. “By getting to know someone, I can help them make good decisions about whether Willow Valley is a fit for them,” Laura said. She loves meeting new people, listening to their perspectives, and seeing new residents find connections in their new community by getting involved in the active lifestyle here. “When a resident calls me to tell me how much they love their new lifestyle, I know I am in the right place,” she added.

Laura is a graduate of Grove City College and Millersville University. She has contributed articles to Willow Valley’s blog, as well as her own blog, on comparing senior living communities. She also actively volunteers with her church and youth sports teams.

Erin Weagly

Move Counselor

Erin began her career at Willow Valley Communities as a Sales Counselor in 2005 and transitioned to the position of Move Counselor in 2016.
Her favorite aspect of her job is meeting new people from all over the United States, guiding them through the process of moving into their new home, and showing them how Willow Valley Communities can enrich their lives.

Erin says, “It’s a great feeling to see people thrive at life after they make the move to Willow Valley Communities.”
Erin has a Bachelor’s Degree from York College in Community in Therapeutic Recreation. She is also the Volunteer Coordinator for the annual Day of Pampering at Manor Church, an event for women who have a husband or child with a disability.
