Staying engaged with other people during this time of social distancing is an important way to stay centered and feeling good. Participating in social media is one way that you can be in contact with others while still maintaining your social distance. Facebook, a social networking site, is a great place to start connecting with others.
Things you can do on Facebook include:
- Connect with businesses and celebrities
- Share information on your profile page
- See updates and posts from friends
- Share photos and videos with friends
- Invite friends to join groups and events
- Chat with available friends
- Find out what’s happening at Willow Valley Communities

You’ll see beautiful photographs of our community and, if you’re a resident, you’ll find many of your friends and neighbors. On Facebook you have the option to add your own comments and photos, ask questions, and even start a conversation with fellow Facebook users. It’s a nice way to stay engaged with others while maintaining your physical social distance.
Our Facebook posts feature residents leading inspiring lives even during this time of COVID0-19; they’re rediscovering passions, hobbies, enjoying our beautiful grounds and much more. You’ll hear about wonderful opportunities for classes and other programming options that are available to residents. There are virtual educational lectures, art classes, live fitness classes, and entertainment galore (some of which we share on Facebook). Also, you’ll learn to know our team members and what they are doing to keep our residents engaged and safe.
