Nursing team members have a variety of responsibilities depending on their certification (CNA, LPN, RN) or license. In general, nurses at Willow Valley Communities will care for residents in either independent or skilled care settings under the direction of nursing and medical staff. In addition, nurses may be expected to respond to trouble calls with an RN to determine a resident’s needs, provide emergency response as needed, and assist in CPR & AED response.
Free, Paid Hourly CNA Education Program:
The Willow Valley Communities CNA Training Program is a 20-day educational program. It is a full-time schedule, with shifts starting as early as 6:30 or 7 a.m. The program is offered to candidates Willow Valley Communities hires as Team Members.
If a candidate is hired for a CNA position with Willow Valley Communities but is not certified, Willow Valley Communities will pay for the cost of the class, and we will also pay the student a wage of $11/hr while they attend the program.
During the program, students will have classroom time, as well as on-the-floor experience. Upon graduation from the class, students will begin working in the departments that they were hired for, and their wage will increase to $12/hr.
Willow Valley Communities will pay for students certification exam, and once the student is certified, their wage will increase to the Certified Nursing Assistant rate.
Culinary, or food service, team members have a variety of jobs and responsibilities including food prep, set-up, serving, and clean-up duties. Team members will also meet expected safety and sanitation standards and high levels of customer satisfaction. Culinary team members work in resident dining rooms, menu-dining restaurants, lounges, and cafes within the community.
Operations positions help keep Willow Valley Communities running smoothly for team members and residents. Positions include, but are not limited to, bus drivers, doormen, floor care, housekeeping, security, landscaping/grounds, and more.
Therapy team members assist in rehabilitating residents through exercises, programming, and more. Duties may include administering active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, and modality treatments.
Full-time management and professional team members put their unique skillsets to work to grow, manage, and strengthen Willow Valley Communities. These team members work in every area of Willow Valley Communities – from restaurants, to marketing, and more.
Caregivers help seniors live at home safely with independence and peace of mind. Responsibilities focus on aiding in daily activities including, but not limited to, basic meal preparation, running errands, playing cards, and various household chores. Home care positions are on-call as needed, as clients request this service.
