Our new luxury apartment residence, The Vistas and the new events venue, Chautauqua Hall, both located on the Manor Campus, have won First Place in a national competition in the Independent Living category. More than 80 communities nationwide submitted their new construction and renovation projects for consideration in 11 categories in the 2017 Senior Housing News Architecture and Design Awards competition.

A team of expert panelists from the industry evaluate design elements such as color, light, landscape architecture and community functionality.

Willow Valley Communities’ new Vistas is a five story, 53 apartment residence with distinctive, high-end features such as large, oversized windows and beautiful finishes throughout. Vistas’ prime hilltop location offers commanding views toward the city of Lancaster, as well as surrounding farmland. The Vistas was completed in July.
Chautauqua Hall is a one of-a-kind performance and entertainment location featuring a stage and professional entertainment, light, and sound package to host a wide variety of events such as dances, parties, lectures,meetings, and much more. It features a 9500-sq. ft. gathering place for 325 and consists of a spacious seating/dining/dance area, a full commercial kitchen, bar and grill, performance stage with accompanying audio/lighting equipment, Green Room, outdoor patio, and restrooms. Glass overhead doors create a pleasant connection with the outdoors with stunning views of the pond and inspiring water feature below. The outdoor patio features a grill, custom fireplace, and kitchen for hosting outdoor events. Chautauqua Hall’s most striking features, the wood timber-frame structure and the exposed interior timber wood beams, wood columns, and wood roof decking, give the space a warm, rustic and welcoming feeling throughout. Chautauqua Hall was completed in August.
