Our awe-inspiring Chefs meet throughout the year to plan menus and try new dishes. They recently hosted a tasting of new menu items to be featured on our winter menu cycle. Willow Valley’s culinary program uses a cycle menu of three weeks for each of the four seasons.
A group of Willow Valley Team Leaders from our Culinary Department were invited to taste a multitude of innovative dishes and give feedback. Each of the recipes prepared are critiqued before menus are finalized for our Residents.
A variety of dishes were prepared with selections that included new trends in food, local produce, and healthy options as well as comfort foods. Together the Chefs created 20+ new dishes for the group to enjoy.
