Be sure to put Willow Valley Communities on your itinerary during the sixth annual Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) Open House on Saturday, October 15 from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Willow Valley will join 17 other Lancaster County communities in this coordinated county-wide event for individuals to visit multiple communities in one day. A Continuing Care Retirement Community or CRCC is a distinct type of senior living community that offers multiple care options at one location.
Willow Valley will be the only total Lifecare community on the tour meaning residents are entitled to receive long-term care, should it ever be needed, without an increase to their monthly fee.
We are expecting close to 300 visitors from around the mid-Atlantic area to visit our campus. Four various sized apartments in our Manor and North communities as well as a Villa on our Manor Campus are on the tour. Guests will also be treated to hors d’oeuvres and refreshments in the newly renovated North Community by Willow Valley’s award-winning culinary team with samples of free trade coffees also served in the North Coffee Lounge. At The Clubhouse guests will tour a unique set of amenities: outdoor pool and Har-Tru tennis courts, vintage arcade, golf simulator, bowling alley and sports and fitness center. A dessert buffet and Carmen and David’s ice cream samples will also be served at The Clubhouse Café and Ice Cream Parlor.
This is the sixth year area senior living communities have participated in the Explore Retirement Living Open House Event. The collaborative event effort of 18 Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) located in and around Lancaster County is to encourage individuals and families to explore the many benefits of living in a CCRC and to find one that fits them best. Lancaster County has become a very popular region to retire to because of the low cost of living, beautiful scenery, great arts and entertainment, vibrant downtown and high quality healthcare.
The annual CCRC Open House enables visits to several communities in one day. Visitors can go from one community to the next to tour, gather information, meet residents and ask questions. Visitors are then encouraged to set up appointments at communities that interest them after the event for more personalized visits and information.
Our tour begins at our Manor Club, 211 Willow Valley Square, Lancaster, PA 17602 this Saturday, October 15th from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No RSVP is required. Please join us!
